i forgot to mention that another huge thing that people do during carnaval is spray each other with this foam stuff called carioca, not sure of that spelling. the trip up there was cold, the concert was cool and those two guys with me are, (obviously) gringo matt and ivan penafiel (he goes by ivan and pena)
